About Organization
ASK Yourself is a non-governmental organization created in 2015 by a group of young people who wanted to promote Erasmus + opportunities and non-formal education. The values of the association are: equality, education, interculturality and civic involvement. Through our activities we want to encourage young people to try new learning opportunities, discover themselves, to improve their skills, and get involved in the development of their community. Our youth workers provide support in implementing the ideas of young volunteers while offering them complex development opportunities. During the 7 years of our activity, we managed to grow and to facilitate the learning process for thousands of young people. After focusing only on youth, at the beginning of our activity, we soon realized that the best way to reach a bigger number of young people is to train youth workers. This is how we started to offer training on non-formal education, inclusion, training of trainers and writing projects. By providing quality trainings, we managed to form an active, motivated team of youth workers One of our main goals is to build a connection between our community and Erasmus+. We want to offer new opportunities for youth and encourage them to be more actively involved in the community. We always encourage youth with fewer opportunities to take part in international projects. We encourage youth to propose, write and implement their own projects. We also offer help for those young people who are looking for their first job - we together create their CV, we organize mock-interviews and we help them discover their strong and weak points when it comes to competences. So far, we organized 17 projects Erasmus+ projects and we have been partners in over 30 projects across Europe. We always focus on long-term partnerships, and each project has brought us new, reliable partners or improved our relationship with old partners. At the moment, the association has 14 youth workers and 36 young active volunteers. The number of beneficiaries differs depending on the activities we implement, but annually we carry out activities with over 300 young people. We like being a big, united, team, having complex responsibilities that help us produce a clear impact.
