Bucharest "Athenaeum" University is a higher education institution, part of the education system in Romania, accredited under the Law no.135/24th of May 2005 published in the Official Bulletin no. 436/24.05.2005. The mission of the "Athenaeum" University is to create and preserve the knowledge-base acquired by learning, by specific education in the research field, and to train specialists with higher-education in the economic and administrative field. The facilities offered by the "Athenaeum" University are: - Training and research conditions at European standards: classrooms equipped with cutting-edge learning tools, free and easy acces to the university library, online library, free wireless internet, free access to online information system EDATA and e-Learning platform; - Modern Language Technology Center; - Complementary training courses: Accounting, IT Skills, English Communication Skill, International Relations, European Studies, Project Management, Risk Management, Security Studies, Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, Theory of International Relations, International Communication. - Center for long life learning; - Center for Counseling and Career Guidance; - Merit-based scholarships, social grants. University objectives: 1. To expand students’ knowledge base in economic sciences , public administration and international relations programs of other countries; 2. To develop a global perspective and approach to economic sciences and public administration programs; 3. To cultivate intercultural competencies and sensitivity to other cultures among students, faculty and staff; 4. To compare and contrast economic sciences and public administration education and practice in Romania with those of other countries.
