Czech Association of Educational Institutions

The Czech Association of Educational Institutions (CAVI) was established in 2010, with the main aim of becoming a recognized and important player in the field of education, pursuing the objective to act against the state as a keep partner and arbitrator in education. The CAVI seeks to meet its long term goal, which is to manage to have some representatives of the Association being nominated and assure some functions within councils and committees implemented by governmental authorities at the regional and national level. Thanks to the cooperation of major institutions in the field of education, such as universities, scientific and research institutions, business incubatores, chambers of commerce and industry or ceven companies operating in this sector on a long term basis, the Association CAVI now has the adequate tools to achieve its objectives. An important prerequisite for the achievement of the above-mentioned objectives is to develop a broad a multidisciplinary readership base, of which unique lecturers from institutions are taking part to. The CAVI Association is represented by around 50 active members all over Czech Republic. As mentioned above, the CAVI Association acts as a professional institution, but also as a market player. As a professional association, the CAVI Association performs its activities in two basic areas: - The team is able to offer experts who have sufficient qualifications and knowledge about inclusion in various types of institutions. Their task within these institutions are to establish and implement professional services (consulting) for state bodies ans also to monitor and correct the implementation of activities with commercial potential. - Our 50 representatives are aiming at covering the regional level by assuring representation during educational councils of cities and municipalities, but also by covering central institutions such as ministries, parliament, governments’ departments and so on). The position of Market Player is a crucial role to play as regards support to entities starting their business because of the presence of natural monopolies in many cases in the market environment. The role of the CAVI Association in this case is to extend the references of these organizations so that they do not have to compete with bigger ones. Indeed, the aim is to share references and use the principles of partnership to get into contracts or tenders from government or large enterprises. In this respect, the CAVI association runs the following activities: - Management activities of cooperating experts - Work teachers and to use basic information and management techniques - Management of the relationships with member institutions, or other institutions from various forms of partnership. - Project involvement: custom applications / request for members / dissemination of EU policies in Czech Republic (from design to implementation) - Dealing with contracts and their implementation - business/implementation/reporting. Overall, the CAVI Association is experienced in: - Participating in boards and committees in the field of education - Being an initiator and promoter of new educational methods - Being an author and designer of educational products - Being an initiator of connections between subjects and activity fields Finally, the CAVI Association participated in 2 EU financed projects, one being about setting up a common pattern for fashion design education between Italy, Romania, Czech Republic and Turkey, and the other one being about the promotion of the concept of equal opportunities between genders amongst schools, educational centers and enterprises or state bodies.
