NGO Centre of Gender Culture

Organization was founded in 2008. Since 2009 we implement innovative long-term project "Making Museum of ourselves!", which aims to create and develop the first and the only one museum in Ukraine of Women's and Gender History - Gendermuseum. Today the museum's collection includes more than 3,000 items. Over the years the Museum has organised and participated in more than 1,000 events on regional, national and international levels. The list of our projects: 2008 "Making the museum of ourselves" 2009 "Creating the first in Ukraine Museum of gender" 2009 Participated in making the film "Women`s face Ukraine" 2010 "Creating a virtual gender museum" 2011 Participating as a partner in the project "Live and remember. Understanding women's experience of war". 2011 "YiYistoriya" (Her history) Equal Opportunities and Women's Rights in Ukraine 2012 "Campaign for lobbying of gender-based budgeting at the local level" UN Women 2013 "Women supporting women" And other. Since January 1, 2016 we realize a project "Center of gender culture as an innovative center of interactive gender education" . We are open for cooperation with schools, universities, research institutions from around the world. Our Center has repeatedly organized lectures, workshops and educational programs for visitors from Europe and Canada.
