Primary school,,Matija Gubec"

The school's primary activity is education and enabling the students with the skills needed for their future personal and academic growth through developing their social skills and raising awareness. The school also participates in educational tourism and volunteering activities. The school participated in the following international projects: 1.UNICEF-School without violence –within this project teachers and educational staff underwent a training program on the topics Violence prevention, Mediation and Forum teatar. After the training, the knowledge was transferred to students and parents through workshops 2. MIOS – IV Conference :“ Open schools in the community– school for everyone “ – Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina- Exchange of experiences of schools from BiH,Serbia,Croatia and The Republic of Srpska on the topic: Community in the school- school in the community. 3. Nansen dialogue center Osijek– „School in building up an intercultural community“ – Orahovica Teacher training for applying intercultural in the community and in school. 4. DILS – „We, you, they – stop the violence“- After the completion of the project ,,My school – school without violence” the work on the prevention of violence among students, students-parents, students-teachers was continued through this project. 5. Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities- National Communities-– „Etno day – affirmation of multiculturalism and tolerance in Vojvodina“. In this project students who are taught in Serbian presented well-known people and the culture of the Croatian people and the students who are taught in Croatian presented well-known people and the culture of the Serbian people. 6. Focus Foundation– „WARC – Welcome to Art and Crafts“- The students participated in this project and presented old arts and crafts of our village. They also learned about self-employment and youth entrepreneurship and about joining the traditional and the modern art expression.
