Associazione Leib - Il corpo che resiste

The word Leib is german means "living body", in opposition to Korper, that represents the biological body, considered as an object. Leib meant to represent that body-subject able to act against racism, fascism and sexism that are present in our society and in the sport fields. By offering an interdisciplinary approach to the bodily practices, the Leib Association supports research and projects to reconfigure the body as a place of subjectivity in institutional contexts (like the school or the health system) and into the community. The association is interested in developing projects involving sport, intercultural dialogue, health promotion, non-formal learning and gender equity practices.
