About Organization
Our organization is a group of young people united by the common aspiration to self-development with respect to human dignity, human rights, and democratic values. Most of our participants are active on the local level: they create numerous activities for their peers all over Ukraine, such as leadership camps and trainings. We work with school and university students on the topics of diversity, non-discrimination, female empowerment, youth activism, and media literacy. As a group, we take part in international youth meetings and training courses within ERASMUS+ Program. Representatives of our organization took part / co-organized numerous international youth projects connected to the topic of youth work, diversity and non-discrimination. They led several workshops e.g. on the topics of migration & xenophobia, non-violent action etc. Several organization members are competent and experienced in the use of the WWII history for non-formal education (namely promotion of tolerance and non-discrimination). In 2014 we hosted an international youth exchange “Create your own Diver.city” in Lviv region, Ukraine. In we co-organized Ukrainian-German youth project “Who are these people: Faces of forced displacement in Ukraine and Germany”. In March, June and August 2017 we conducted three camps on the national level: video-camp “Stop-Hate”, SVIDOMI Active Citizens Summer Camp, and Muzychi Girl Camp, where we actively used methods of peer-to-peer education. In 2018 we became partners in the youth exchange “Make a Mov(i)e” devoted to promoting tolerance and cultural diversity through videomaking.
