Bessimo is a Social Cooperative funded in 1976 in order to offer therapeutic rehabilitation programmes to drug-addicted We care about addictions from Prevention to Harm Reduction: 222 people are employed in our Organization. As a social cooperative, Bessimo is based on member social participation and cooperation: our social assembly is composed by 105 members. We are a no-profit organization accredited by Lombardia Region for addictions treatment since 2008. OUR ACTIVITIES 14 residential therapeutic communities: Therapeutic Rehabilitation, Orientation, and Specific Treatments for families, alcohol-addiction and poli-addiction. It can also offer an alternative to prison, such as external criminal enforcement corrective measure. We offers an amount of 265 credited seats. – 7 Centres for Males – 3 Centres for females – 1 Centre for Single women with children – 3 Centre for Addicted Couples (with or without children) 1 Educative Residential Centre for children Social Housing Service 4 Harm-Reduction Services in 4 different cities 1 Risk-Reduction Service operating in night-life Counselling Service for families, teenagers, 2 Support Service for inmates in Brescia Prisons. WHO DO WE HELP? Drug/Alcohol/Gambling Addicted males or females Drug/Alcohol/Gambling Addicted couples, even with children Pregnant single women or single women with children People with ongoing detoxicating treatment People covered by substitute pharmacological treatment Extra-EU citizens, as long as they have a residence permit. Non-EU residents detained without a residence permit under probation misure. People who suffer from chronical deseases, if their health conditions are compatible with the development of the therapeutic program People who are under any limitation of their freedom
