Ass. Cante di Montevecchio Onlus

Cante di Montevecchio is a non profit organization that deals with innovative policies and services aimed a different targets: minors, mother-child groups, women victims of violence and elderly people. The projects, that focus on accommodate the various fragilities, are developed both within the structure, and outside the structure. How? Through projects aimed at the autonomy of women with or without children, in an exit from community paths and social housing projects. The structure, in addition to dealing directly with these sections of the population, has been characterized over time to keep together the research and the social action; in recent years we increased the transversal activities of education, of integrated planning and social research. In this regard, the association has launched three projects: the small university of social work, the first library on community welfare and the publishing house “Biblis”, specialized in social work. The methodological approach is based on the activation of community welfare processes, on networks and on the promotion of social cohesion.
