Csemete Foundation

The Csemete Foundation was established in 1998 as an NGO for the moral and religious education of preschool children, and training of its staff. It helps the Csemete Reformed Nursery School where last year there were four groups. The CsF was accredited for EVS first time in 2007, and the Csemete Reformed Nursery School received its accreditation in 2008 from the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport. The CsF's goal is working toward a society free from prejudices, where children will grow up and have equal chances. Working with volunteers was a good experience for the staff and for the children from the kindergarten. Among our regular activities it should be mentioned the teaching of preschool children, playing, teaching English as second language, music and arts, religion, ecology,etc. We have programs for intensive music, for swimming and for children with fewer opportunities. In the same time we run a program for parents, a non-formal education about how to raise their children in the most effective way. The Csemete Foundation has more than 317 members beside the staff. The staff consists of four nursery teachers, a nurse, a cook, a cleaner and the manager. Beside them there are the music, dance and swim teacher. The target group are preschool children aged between 1 and 6 till they go to the primary school.
