Associação Cultural Harmonia e Amizade

We are a new NGO and the founders of the association have settled in Portugal recently. While we are seeking integration to the host community by all means, we also aim to become a bridge between the host community and the newcomers. In a larger scale, beyond the host country, we keep an eye on developing the European citizenship identity and values within the community coming from different ethnic,religious and cultural backgrounds with establishing partnerships and networks all over Europe. We believe in friendship, intercultural dialogue and respect for diversities which is crucial for a peaceful&healthy society with different backgrounds and to prevent possible future conflicts before it happens. We know how meaningful and necessary it is to give back to the host country you are living in. So, volunteering and solidarity with/for people has an important role with our vision. We are new but motivated and ready to become a partner in your projects at a local/regional/national and International level.
