Exploring Cultural Campfire Opportunities

Based in Bremanger, a small community, with about 3800 inhabitantes in the region of Vestland, Sogn og Fjordane, surrounded by mountains, fjords and long distances between the settlements, The collaborative team took the initiative to establish several meeting places for children, young people and vulnerable groups in the local community. Together we facilitates opportunities for all residents on the following principles: equal treatment, equal opportunities and «no-profit» principle. Objectives are. • work for increased innovative, sustainable and attractive organization • Healt and wellbeing • Creativity and cultures • Civic engagemet\ responsible citizenship • Equal opportunitets\ gender equality • eco-friendly and green neighborhood • To make our local community a better place to live Activities. • Project design and implementation • runs several permanent activities for children, youth and others • Promotion of arts and cultural activities • Pick a spot - environmental challenges related to the sea • social meeting places - workshops in social cooking, evenings with young people with special needs • language cafe for refugees, asylum seekers and others both Norwegian and English • International cooperation Club for youth with special needs The activities above will take place in different formats, such as Training courses, workshops, meeting places, workscamps, youth exchanges, study visit, participate in ESC, internship and some are daily work and tasks.
