European Expression is a non-profit Civil Society Organization (CSO), independent of public authorities and political parties, founded in 1989 by young scientists and active citizens with theoretical and practical orientations, to promote the European idea and values, the rights of European citizens and international multilateral cooperation and governance, as well as the modernization of Greek society, economy, and politics. Its compass is the ideas of freedom, voluntary participation, and federal forms of citizenship, as the most democratic approach to integration, rights and freedoms for all, the fulfilment of the ideal of peace in inter-state relations and within states, minimum civilisation for the purpose of freedom from violence and oppression, the preservation of the climate of and nature and achieving unity through the syntheses of diversity. For 32 years European Expression has been developing activities, uninterruptedly, towards to achieve its objectives. Under the responsibility of the European Expression Group (association) and the non-profit-making civil society association 'European Society- Political Expression - Institutions-ES.PE.I', a coherent management and policies are achieved, with orientation, dynamism, and efficiency, with democracy, transparency, and accountability. It has published 107 issues of the magazine “European Expression” for 30 years, books and some other publications, hundreds of public events, dozens of seminars, several festivals, a remarkable number of programmes with a significant impact and tangible results, missions in the EU and abroad, while employing dozens of staff, hosting European and international volunteers, always mobilising a significant pool of volunteers of all kinds, several donors, and sponsors. Its work has been rewarded several times and its contribution has been recognised, while already entering a new period of faster growth and contribution to man and nature, freedom, and peace.
