BRONX PEOPLE NGO

We, Bronx People NGO, are a family which has 21 members. We have national and international judo and powerlifting medalists, most of them being orphans or coming from poor families. After we became a family, opening #MariaBronxFamilyCenter, everything changed. More than sports, together, we developed resources for the entire community, related to education, practical abilities, humanitarian aid and social integration for everybody. Given that our family succeded in turning institutionalized children in champions not only on tatami, but also in their own lives, from the beginning of 2022, we started to build another 7 houses. We are building: *2 Art&Crafts Houses, which will become a home for other orphan children, but also a place for developing practical skills; one of the houses will have a medical office opened for the entire community; *2 "Mother&Child" houses, where lonely mothers with children, victims of unhappy circumstances, will find a home; *1 little church with an underground canteen, for keeping alive our values and faith and strenghten the sense of community among us; *1 Special Needs house, for offering a home and a development place for children and youths with disabilities (includong sports); *1 Sports Hall, to develop sports resources for children and youths and create a place for promoting sports in the community (local, national and international). Also, we are building a Social Canteen in Bacau, where children coming from disadvantaged areas will eat (approx. 300 children daily).
