Ogre Youth Initiative Association "Talantu Kalve"

The goal of our organization is to give every young person the opportunity to learn new skills, abilities (for example, communication, cooperation skills), to see their strengths, to strengthen them, as well as to help young people orient themselves in choosing a career. We believe that every young person should be given opportunities, a safe and supportive environment, where they can develop their inner potential, see and strengthen their abilities, increase their self-esteem and gain motivation to learn and improve. Our belief is "today's youth are our future tomorrow. We offer youth some non-formal education lessons, camps, various outdoor activities, mentoring and career counseling. We have in our sights talented young people from the city of Ogre (members and leaders of our association) who, with a little help, are able to implement their own initiatives, organize events, interactive games, involve their peers. However, our main target audience is young people with limited opportunities. These are young people with socio-economic problems, learning difficulties, geographical barriers (rural youth) or mental problems that have arisen as a result of the covid pandemic or domestic problems. We believe that every young person should be given opportunities, a safe and supportive environment, where they can develop their inner potential, see and strengthen their abilities, increase their self-esteem and gain motivation to learn and improve. Our belief is "today's youth are our future tomorrow. We offer young people a variety of non-formal educational activities: lessons, camps, outdoor activities, mentoring and career counseling.
