DOMINO ASSOCIATION

DOMINO ASSOCIATION has been an idea of educators, teachers school and project managers since 2018 as an extra way to provide high quality services for non-formal education and development for children and young people. In June 2021 part of our NGO became photographers, film producer and painters and DOMINO ASSOCIATION was officially established as a NGO with purpose to foster and support education and personal development of children, young people and adults; to encourage development of artist, fine and visual arts and culture. The subject of activity of the association is the creation, dissemination and preservation of cultural values in the field of theater, music, cinema, audiovisual, literature, literary translation, design, folklore, including the preservation of cultural and historical heritage, organization of schools, clubs, courses, camps, plein airs, cultural, creative events and other activities for children, youth and adults, support and promotion of the environment, healthy lifestyle, development of sports at all ages in cooperation with other Bulgarian, European and international organizations, implementation of additional activities supporting the implementation of the main functions of the association. Our main goals are: - To encourage and support the education and personal development of children, youth and adults for enrichment of the public and cultural life and the development of the civil society in synchrony with the common European values; - To develop innovative practices in the field of education of children, youth and adults to increase their motivation to lifelong learning. - To promote linguistic diversity by supporting learning and communication between children, young people and adults in different languages; - To support the development of the creative potential of children, young people and adults in the field of culture, fine, applied and visual arts. - To support the expression of young artists and the development of new alternative practices and forms of art and culture and to promote them in the country and abroad in cooperation with other Bulgarian, European and international organizations - To support and promote ecology, healthy lifestyle, development of sports at all ages in cooperation with other Bulgarian, European and international organizations; - To promote and stimulate volunteering as a socially significant value. To support the building of socially responsible behavior in the community, especially among young people, and to encourage voluntary work. - To educate and strengthen the national self-consciousness and to support the popularization of the Bulgarian spiritual values, history and culture. - To enrich the culture of the community with common European and world values and to encourage the various national, ethnic, religious and social groups inhabiting the region to communicate, intercultural inclusion and mutual exchange of experiences, ideas and good practices. - To cooperate with related organizations for the implementation of joint projects and programs.
