Centar društvenih inovacija (Center for social innovation)

Center for Social Innovation (Centar društvenih inovacija, CDI) is a non-profit organization located in Croatia. We have over ten years of experience in social innovation, social entrepreneurship, sustainable development, STEM, formal and non-formal education, counseling, youth work, and intercultural and interreligious dialogue. In regards to project planning, execution, and reporting, it is worthwhile to mention that we have behind us dozens of successful projects which were recognized and financially supported by local and regional authorities, national agencies and ministries, and EU funds. Association’s headquarters is in Croatia’s capital city Zagreb, and we have an extensive network of partners across the country as our past projects were carried out Croatia-wide. This provides us with good knowledge of possibilities and challenges in different regions and the reach within communities when recruiting project participants. Our decade-long track record, supported by an out-of-the-box thinking team of young professionals and passionate NGO workers, is a winning combination. We believe people are our most valuable asset and nurture them as much as possible. Coming from different backgrounds, all of them bring to our idea desk many creative project ideas that are being distilled at our group meetings. In the upcoming period, we strive to take the next step to the international stage. We feel that the time has come to say “hello” to the world and to engage more fully in transnational projects within different programmes, among which the most interesting are Erasmus+ and ESC.
