Rural Move

Rural Move is a non-profit organization, created in 2020, with the aim of creating, developing and promoting activities and initiatives that promote investment and repopulation of the Portuguese rural and low-density territories. Our goal is to boost the regeneration of rural territories, give more opportunities to their communities, so that one day all people will have the possibility to choose to live in dynamic and happy rural communities. More specifically our objectives are to: - Attract workers, companies, entrepreneurs and investors to rural and low density territories. - Promote population retention and settlement in low density and rural territories. - Promote education and training of the rural population regarding innovation, entrepreneurship, digitalisation, among otgers. - To raise the awareness for the importance of the problems related to investment and repopulation of rural territories. - To promote cooperation and solidarity between its loal communities, local stakeholders and the potential visitors/residents.
