Working in KA2 projects since 2017. Also VET initiatives since 2023 We are a coalition of municipalities and communes in Argentina that, together with an executive secretariat, coordinates and promotes strategic plans to address climate change. Our commitment to climate action is framed within the goals of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy. The Covenant addresses three aspects of climate action: climate change mitigation, adaptation to adverse effects, and universal access to safe, clean, and affordable energy. To address this issue, the Argentine Network of Municipalities Against Climate Change was formed during the first International Conferences on Municipalities and Climate Change held in the city of Monte Caseros in November 2010. Since then, the Network has become an instrument for coordinating and promoting local public policies to address climate change in cities and communes in Argentina, as well as in other Latin American countries such as Panama, Chile, and Uruguay.
