Primary Education Directorate of Halkidiki

Our organization administratively supports 154 public primary schools and one private school. It is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the schools regarding personnel and timely staffing. It is also responsible for the proper functioning of the School Libraries and the material-technical infrastructure. It is competent in handling issues related to educational work, the needs of educators, providing counseling support, and promoting educational policy. The Directorate organizes annual training seminars on topics such as Environment, Sustainability, Culture, New Technologies, and Special Education. The entire educational and administrative staff work together effectively guided by the principles of democratic governance, respect, and teamwork. Our organization prioritizes the inclusion of individuals with fewer opportunities, improving digital skills, and sustainable development.
