Mutaforma is a transnational social organism that combines the adaptive wisdom of chameleons and octopi with the holistic vision of birds and bees. As a laboratory and design workshop, Mutaforma aims to engage with changing realities and urgent needs across diverse territories. Our core mission is care as a multi-level, community process that involves individuals, their ecological niches, and the institutions they interact with. We consider the complexity of life on Earth in the third millennium, embracing biodiversity as a value and medium through which generative, health-promoting, original, multidisciplinary, and collaborative transformation processes can be realized. Mutaforma integrates psychological expertise with education and visual, plastic, and expressive arts to promote health and professionalism in a circular manner. We self-organize to address contemporary challenges, embracing individual, group, community, systemic, and ecological perspectives as facets of the same whole. Our approach is highly adaptable, allowing us to take on the most appropriate flexible forms for each context. We treasure local resources and connect them with network opportunities and existing communities. While our methods are mutable, our core principles remain solid and supportive. Mutaforma operates on multiple levels - local and international, organic and digital, individual and communal, research and action, work and imagination. We are a reality in constant evolution, grounded in shared principles yet open to experimental forms, always listening and adapting to the environment. Our team consists of: Francesco Melega - Psychotherapist and Social Project Manager Carolina Camurati - Psychologist Analyst in training and Artistic Curator Alice Consigli - Sociologist and Dancer Together, we form a unique ecosystem where each member contributes their deep roots and expanding branches. Our mission is to cultivate physical, mental, and emotional spaces where people can flourish, ideas can germinate, and new forms of coexistence and creation can come to life. We're here for those seeking to rediscover themselves, reinvent themselves, or contribute to a more equitable and sustainable world.
