DİKBIYIK ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL

Our organization is affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey and provides secondary education in Çarşamba district of Samsun province. It provides full-time education to young people aged 14-18 at the level of education and prepares them for higher education. We have a total of 441 students , 28 teachers from different branches, 2 administrators and 3 assistant staff. Most of our students are in the lower economic group. We also have many students from broken families and there are 4 students with special education needs. Our school serves the surrounding settlements as the only secondary education institution in an area of approximately 250 square kilometers. We have a high level of success in provincial and national competitions in chess, basketball, futsal, darts, volleyball, wrestling, boxing, handball, taekwondo and muay tai branches. In addition, our students also participate in national and international organizations such as TÜBİTAK and Teknofest. During the 2022 Call for Proposals within the Scope of Erasmus+School Education Student and Staff Mobility (KA121-SCH) we bacame one of the Consortium Member Schools. During this period, a teacher from our school took a course in Barcelona, Spain and two of our teachers went to Focsani, Romania for on-the-job observation. Dikbıyık Anatolian High School provides education to economically and socially disadvantaged students. For this reason, it is necessary to raise environmental awareness, develop the habit of reading books, and evaluate the rates of conducting scientific research.
