SGR_Francigena

San Giovanni Rotondo Francigena (SGR Francigena APS) is an association founded with the mission of promoting and enhancing the culture of walking and mobility, inspired by the historic Via Francigena, a route that still crosses all Europe today. The association manages hiking, social, and cultural initiatives, including activities for promotion, information, dissemination, participation, knowledge, training, research, and updates related to local identity, historical sites and routes, pilgrimage, and European mobility from a multicultural and social inclusion perspective. One of SGR Francigena APS’s goals is to promote and organize various leisure activities, such as events, festivals, and recreational activities, related to the themes of mobility and walking in nature as tools for personal growth. Additionally, the association aims to engage the local population in enjoyable and inclusive activities.
