Chamber of Commerce Venezia Giulia

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Craft and Agriculture Venezia Giulia – Trieste Gorizia (CCIAA VG) is a public Business Support Organization, whose main task set by law is promoting and supporting local economy. Public functions performed allow the Chamber providing important services for the benefit of local enterprises: legal and economic information (allowed by its keeping of the Register of Companies), market, economic relationships and environment regulation. The Chamber has developed specific skills allowing a highly targeted territorial marketing and a sound support to local entrepreneurship. Also through the availabilty of its own funds and managing EU, national and public resources, the Chamber actively supports enterprises’ creation, internationalization, digitalization, innovation, double transition. Also through its special agencies and its in-house company Aries, the Chamber has achieved a long-term experience in managing EU funded projects (e.g. Interreg Italy-Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Adrion, COSME, EMFF), both as LP and PP. The system is highly committed in collaborating with trade associations, with regional, national and foreign economic Clusters and in working inside transnational and CrossBorder networks: Enterprise Europe Network (as a Consortium PP and point), Adriatic-Ionian and Alpe Adria Networks of Chambers of Commerce. Also through managing specific funds, the Chamber supports the employment of young people (PCTO programme) and the development of youth and women’s development of entrepreneurial activities. The Chamber also promoted the creation of the Committee for Female Entrepreneurship, which carries out a series of information, training and outreach activities. The aim is to facilitate the entry of women into the entrepreneurial world, from a cultural and financial point of view, with the aim of helping to reduce the gender gap present in the entrepreneurial and employment local framework.
