About Organization
Remonta is a non-profit youth organization founded in 2017 in Montilla, Córdoba (Spain). It was created by a group of young people committed to social change, community development, and youth participation. Our main mission is to empower young people through promoting active citizenship, and support inclusion processes, especially in rural areas or among youth with fewer opportunities. We organize local, regional, and now international activities focused on critical thinking, social justice, sustainability, feminism, and cultural diversity. Our experience includes training courses, intercultural exchanges, music festivals, reforestation actions, youth-led forums, and awareness campaigns. Remonta is also involved in educational projects in schools and social centers, and we actively collaborate with public institutions to promote youth participation. The organization is managed by a team of experienced youth workers, educators, and volunteers, and we place a strong emphasis on participatory methodologies, horizontal leadership, and creativity. We are currently expanding our international partnerships and are especially interested in collaborating in Erasmus+ projects (KA1 and KA2), ESC, and solidarity initiatives. Remonta is open to new ideas and partnerships that promote positive impact, youth empowerment, and social innovation.
