Impacto Research Center

IMPACTO Research Center is a non-profit organisation based in Italy, aims to promote research, training and strategic empowerment for public and private entities, making social innovation more accessible and impactful across Europe. IMPACTO is a hub where professionals and organisations co-create and incubate innovative ideas linked to social innovation, youth empowerment and sustainable development. Our mission is to foster social transformation by strengthening collaboration between research, public policy and communities. We work through an ethical, participatory and long-term impact-oriented approach, with special attention to engaging and empowering young people as key drivers of change. Our European network connects over 50 profit and non-profit organisations that share values of inclusion, sustainability and social cohesion. Young people are at the heart of our initiatives: we design tailored training, participatory workshops and learning opportunities to develop youth skills, leadership and active citizenship. We focus on key pillars such as: A. Promoting social innovation and impact measurement to drive societal change through strong partnerships; B. Supporting ethical access to EU R&D by providing training, tools and spaces for young professionals to exchange good practices; C. Addressing climate change and sustainability with youth-led actions; D. Empowering social entrepreneurship, with special attention to young people and women from disadvantaged backgrounds; E. Enhancing accessibility and inclusion through cross-sector actions, both physical and digital; F. Strengthening technical competencies and soft skills for youth to become change agents at local and international levels. Our community-oriented methodology helps diverse groups to design, plan and implement impactful actions. We foster hybrid collaboration between profit and non-profit actors and encourage open dialogue between public institutions, civil society and young citizens. Our target groups include NGOs, foundations, youth organisations and networks, public administrations, SMEs, social startups, universities and research centers. We actively support young people in university pathways, early career stages and youth workers seeking to broaden their competences and participate in European cooperation projects.
