Haqqi-Awrath (HAO)

Haqqi-Awrath Association is a Lebanese non-governmental organization founded in 2018 and officially registered in 2021 to promote women's inheritance rights as a fundamental economic and human right. The association works to combat gender-based violence and discrimination, particularly the systemic denial of women’s rightful inheritance. Its programs focus on legal empowerment, awareness raising, capacity building, and economic support for women and girls. Haqqi-Awrath also provides educational and psychosocial support, especially to adolescent girls, and engages in community mobilization and advocacy to foster gender equality and social justice. The organization is based in El- Khoder and operates across the Baalbek region.
