Fundacja Żyrafa Życie Radość Fantazja

Giraffe Life Joy Imagination Foundation supports young people aged 13–26 by creating free, safe and welcoming spaces for meeting, creativity and wellbeing. We run two permanent youth spaces in Kraków: – the Youth Space “Pracownia Młodych” at Krakusa 7 in the Podgórze district, – the Youth Space “Pracownia Młodych Centrum C9” in Nowa Huta. These are open, everyday spaces where young people can relax after school, join creative, musical, integration and educational activities, and co-create the programme together with the team. We work with non-formal education methods, using art (ceramics, visual arts, music, photography), cultural animation and project-based learning. Our activities bring together local Polish youth and young people with migration experience (including from Ukraine and Belarus), building an atmosphere of acceptance, cooperation and mutual respect. Accessibility and inclusion are key for us – we take into account the needs of young people with fewer opportunities and special needs, offering friendly communication, flexible forms of participation and a supportive team. The Foundation develops young people’s competences in cooperation, creativity, self-development, community engagement and active citizenship. We implement projects in partnership with cultural institutions, schools, NGOs and local authorities. We have experience in publicly funded projects, including planning, implementation and evaluation, as well as in supporting young people as authors and leaders of their own initiatives, both locally and internationally.
