About Organization
Mihalgazi District Governorship is a local public institution based in Eskişehir, Türkiye. Though newly entering the European youth project landscape, it operates at the heart of a region renowned for its natural beauty, ecological richness, and suitability for outdoor and adventure-based learning. The district is surrounded by forested areas, rivers, and mountain foothills, making it highly suitable for nature-based youth activities such as eco-camps, hiking, sustainability workshops, and adventure challenges. The institution has coordinated various community-oriented social initiatives and continues to engage young people in local cultural and environmental projects. Its strong connection with local schools, youth workers, and volunteers enables it to act as an effective partner in Erasmus+ youth exchanges and capacity-building activities. As a non-profit public actor with a focus on social benefit, Mihalgazi District Governorship seeks international partners for KA1 youth projects, particularly those aiming to promote inclusion, ecological awareness, outdoor learning, and intercultural exchange.
