Gençlik Akademisi

Gençlik Akademisi Derneği is a non-profit youth organisation established in 2022 in Bayburt, Türkiye, with a growing network active in five cities. We work with young people aged 15–35, particularly those living in rural areas or facing geographical, social and economic barriers. As an official Eurodesk Point in Türkiye, we promote equal access to European learning, mobility, volunteering and participation opportunities. Our mission is to empower young people through non-formal education, active citizenship and international cooperation. Our main areas of work include youth participation, human rights, inclusion, environmental sustainability, digital transformation, media literacy, well-being, intercultural learning, employability and community development. We organise workshops, seminars, youth forums, awareness campaigns, peer-learning activities, local outreach programmes and international mobility projects. Our team has experience in Erasmus+ project development, participant preparation, facilitation, event management, digital communication, dissemination and cooperation with universities, public institutions and civil society organisations. Through our activities, we have reached thousands of young people. In 2025, our environmental work was recognised with the Eurodesk Türkiye Green Environment Award. We are seeking reliable and long-term European partners for Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, Mobility of Youth Workers, Youth Participation Activities, Small-scale Partnerships and Cooperation Partnerships, particularly under KA152-YOU, KA153-YOU, KA154-YOU, KA210-YOU and KA220-YOU. We can contribute strong local outreach, access to rural and fewer-opportunity youth, experienced coordinators and trainers, digital communication capacity and cooperation with local stakeholders.
