Associazione PATATRAC

The Association of Social Promotion "PA.TA.TR.AC." is composed of young people in the province of Caserta, whom they met, some through common experiences of volunteering, other times in training, others during the course of projects promoted by European funding. The association is made up of various professionals with behind the conclusion of training courses university representing different fields of application of the disciplines of psychology, education, art and more. From this fertile and varied layer of theoretical and practical knowledge the association began his career as an informal group of young people through the implementation of projects funded under the European program "Youth in Action" program, geared to promoting reading to loud and animated reading. The projects awarded were under Action 1.2 of the program (youth initiatives), both national and transnazional, efforts are organized games before with local promotion of Caserta province and then spread in almost all the provinces bells. Through these experiences, the group had the opportunity to experiment with processes of active participation, social inclusion and personal empowerment, and to be known in its territory and beyond, so that it is from 2010 that is active in PA.TA.TR.AC different territorial contexts (libraries, schools, libraries) in order to disseminate and communicate the importance and the need to consolidate practices and opportunities for non-formal education. The Association aims to promote general activities of territorial and cultural expression, information and civic growth in all its many forms through the creation and strengthening of community centers, libraries, cultural centers, such as educational media, educational and therapeutic value to them even through difficult situations. Also appears to be the central focus and looking to the European Union, PATATRAC fact, through his design work in community programs, aims to promote awareness, especially among young people, the European Union, its principles, values, Carte Fundamental opportunities and programs, alo order to spread the importance of being "active citizens". Finally, the association has in mind the principle that moves every initiative, namely the idea that "you can not grow your own", it is customary to promote cultural initiatives in collaboration with other associations, organizations, and / or schools, because fundamental objective is to activate a network of territorial entities that cooperate together for the promotion of the person, the quality of life and culture of its own territory. Having the same principle Patatrac tends to establish relationships and collaborations with European partners to expand their borders and to have a way to transmit and acquire assets and best practices.
