Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs

We are a non-governmental organization of the national level that unites UNESCO clubs working to advocacy humanitarian principles and ideas of UNESCO in the fields of education, science and culture. We aim at involvement of children, youth and adults into the activities on advocacy UNESCO principles and ideas, education of children and youth to be real citizens of their country with an active position. Our activities include educational and training programs, cultural, professional and scientific exchange programs, spreading information on UNESCO issues, and others. The Association was founded in December, 1989 The organization covers all six administrative regions of the Republic of Belarus and Minsk-city. The Association gives priority to activities with : • EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS -- organizing educational and training seminars, conferences, professional youth exchanges, study visits. • STUDENTS VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS • THE PARTNER PROGRAMS: establishing closer ties with organizations in other countries • THE “ADRADZHENNIE” (“RENAISSANCE”) OF THE BELARUSIAN CULTURE PROGRAMS: reinvigoration of national culture, including in the context of European and other neighboring and remote cultures • FOREIGN CULTURES AND TRADITIONS PROGRAMS - Organizing cultural youth exchanges, art exhibitions and other activities involving professional and amateurs • THE “LINGUAPAX” (LANGUAGES OF THE WORLD) PROGRAMS - Organising the language youth camps.
