“Open Space” was born in the year 2010 as a non-profit association. The fundamental idea is to help youths in the opportunities to move (study, work, formal and non –formal formation, volunteering, knowledge, experiences) through European programs. This access, in fact, was (and in many locations it still is) a problem due to the lack of information available in order for the youths to understand and decode the information in the European announcements. During these years the association mainly concentrated on international movement intercepting people, associations, local public bodies and universities with the objective to create a more equal and right society through the youths’ knowledge of their area and their cultures. This work brought us to have many cultural exchanges as partners and organizers. Open Space also worked on local development, planning, programming and creating new spaces and a new way of thinking for youths. It is the territory itself where Open Space is active to offer the right spaces to favour activities and methodologies for leisure. Its objective is to offer opportunities that contribute to the personal growth of young people due to meet with others, even outside the national territory, making them aware of their belonging to UE.
