CLUB DE LOISIRS DE TOURLAVILLE

The Club de Loisirs de Tourlaville actions led to the development of popular education for the local population and agglomeration of Cherbourg. It has more than 2000 members. It encourages the development of cultural and socio cultural destination for all ages. The Club de Loisirs de Tourlaville aims to extend the culture and promote recreation in the various activities it offers to its members. She wants to encourage meetings and cultural exchanges among all public (children, adolescents, adults) of all origins. Our organization defends its axes more associative project who joined the priorities of the European Programme Youth in Action: - Axis 1: Being a place of learning about citizenship and democracy. One objective of this axis is to promote the empowerment of youth. This takes into account the size of the active participation of young people in the exchange project. - Axis 2: Being an actor in the local territory. One of the goals is to strengthen the institutional partnerships and associations but also to be a place of innovation for the territory. - Priority 5: Expand access to cultural practices. One of the objectives is to support the collective dynamics through artistic media. For many years, the CLT promotes encounters and discovering cultures for children and adolescents. Several actions have already been implemented by the association: - France Algeria exchanges for children and young people (excluding PEJA) - Exchanges with the European Youth in Action Programme - Agon coutainville in partnership with the Association in AVRIL on the theme of the environment. We were responsible for the pedagogical and AVRIL was the project leader. This is to train us to mount youth exchange project. Hosting : - To Houlgatte in the European Film Festival (4 country). - To Tourlaville on the cultural practices (movies, music, photos and poetry) in the history of migrations (3 country). Sending : - In Tcheque Republic : animation practice in the youth work (4 country) - In Hungary : Hidden message of history - work on the historic symbols (9 country) We also participate in youth exchange activities conducted on our territory by other associations We also participate in training or seminars (the commitment and participation of young people in projects, mounting a first youth exchange Youthpass) established within the Youth in Action Programme with the Association in AVRIL, Maison pour Tous Léo Lagrange Cherbourg Octeville that is relay local PEJA in the Manche department.. This allows us to meet more new partners for future projects.
