BAIBU Counseling Club

Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University (BAIBU) Counseling Club is located in Bolu, Turkey. BAIBU Counseling Club was founded in 2005 as a university student organization to create awareness about the mental health and psychological well-being of kids, youngsters, and the elderly in the community. We have conducted several national congresses and symposiums with regard to our mission. We also organized and participated in several intercultural youth exchanges both in Turkey and in other youth exchange program countries including but not limited to Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia, and Italy. Our organization has now more than 250 members and most of them university students. We are an NGO and our main aim is closely connect with the vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals in our community and help them to create awareness about mental health and psychological well-being by using various methods including non-formal educational strategies, art, and sports. We also promote activities within the scope of Erasmus +. We currently run youth exchanges in our city and plan more exchanges for the future related to well being of young people in our community.
