Administrative Structure & Profile Adana Governorship is the highest regional public authority in the Province of Adana, Türkiye, representing the central government at the provincial level. Serving a population of over 2.2 million across 15 districts, the Governorship coordinates public institutions, local authorities, educational bodies, and civil society organisations to foster regional social, economic, and cultural development. 2. Core Areas of Activity & Expertise The Governorship leads, coordinates, and implements public policies across several strategic fields: Youth & Sport: Supporting youth empowerment, non-formal education, active citizenship, volunteering, and international youth mobility. Social Inclusion & Equality: Implementing targeted social protection and integration initiatives for disadvantaged groups, including individuals with disabilities, rural youth, NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), and socio-economically vulnerable populations. Environmental Sustainability & Climate Action: Coordinating regional eco-policies, waste management protocols, agricultural sustainability, and green transition strategies. Education & Culture: Supervising public educational policies, promoting regional cultural heritage, and fostering cross-sectoral educational partnerships. 3.
