Girls in Tech empowers women with new technologies, supports women in gaining critical skills in digital, therefore allowing them to access better opportunities. Girls in Tech Luxembourg’s actions enable women to empower Women with new technologies, and therefore work on three pillars: level *Social activities & Networking *Skills acquisition *Confidence building The organization, officially launched in Luxembourg in early 2014, started its activities in 2013 with two main action types aiming to a wide audience. In 2014 we organised a dozen of tech-related events and workshops: • Conferences with speakers, role models and networking • Workshops, more practical and orientated towards skills acquisition with a specialisation in coding workshops. Girls in Tech was a pioneer organising such activities in Luxembourg and encouraging a new way of learning embedded in the digital culture. The association is also very active on social media. Our active online community management activity aim to share daily information on the themes of diversity and new technologies. GIT aims is not to teach or train but to share knowledge and experience in a social and supportive environment.
