Women in Technology Association (Wtech)

As the Women in Technology Association, as of 31 January 2019, we started to operate with 80 founding members and with 360+ Media Founding Agency President Zehra Öney as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Our goal is to create the diversity we need in the world of science and technology and to create the Smart Technology Society, where technology and human power are fully exploited by eliminating the loss of motivation in women. While shaping Turkey into a more technological society, although our focus is on technology and human capital, we see that women's representation in this sense is much lower. That’s why, we are launching our efforts by focusing on women. As the Women's Association in Technology, our primary goal is to increase women's commitment and awareness of technology by enabling them to explore their potential and equality of opportunity, and to ensure that more women are involved in R & D, Innovation and Production. However, due to the importance and value we attach to diversity, we want to believe in the power of working primarily with the focus of women, as well as the inclusion of men as much as 20% in our talent management efforts. As the Women in Technology Association, we aim to increase the employment figure 9.91% in the technology sector to by 100% till 2023.
