Urban Development Association

Urban Development Association is an association that conducts voluntary work throughout the province of Malatya, conducts studies in coordination with public institutions and conducts projects especially on European opportunities, youth, women, rights-based approaches, democracy and participation, and conducts promotions on the European Union. It is an association that is in constant dialogue with the local administration and other public institutions and supports the works they do with non-governmental organizations working locally and nationally. Our association members are experienced in writing, implementing, organizing, reporting, networking, and volunteer work in different fields, and they make a name for themselves by working in social and cultural fields. Providing dialogue between young people and decision-making mechanisms contributes to supporting the participation of young people and realizing new activities. It is defined as social, cultural and educational activities aimed at creating a learning environment designed for young people to discover and realize their potential. Youth Work is an educational process that puts young people at the center, expressing different types of activities and approaches that will ensure their individual, social and emotional development in line with their problems, needs, expectations and rights. KEGED handles and implements all programs, projects and activities with a pedagogical approach within the framework of the basic principles of youth work. As KEGED, it is one of our most important goals to contribute to the improvement of the standards and quality of youth work with an interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral approach. KEGED of youth policy in Turkey, which can facilitate compliance with sectoral development policies and strive to be dealt with interdisciplinary perspective and trying to raise awareness of the projects it develops.
