Tekno Bağımlılık Platformu

Techno Addiction Platform was founded in January, 2016. Our platform organized activities for young people, children and parents on the negative impacts of technology on the human life. We founded our platform to raise public awareness on the harms of technology and its proper use. We started out with 15 members. The fact that the subject has a large literature and many people complain about technology addiction increase the activeness of our platform. All our activities strengthened our foundation and the number of our members reached 65. Teachers, psychologists, communication experts, sociologists, Communication Faculty graduates, public relations experts and students in many different departments are among our members. The objectives of our platform are as follows; To carry out awareness studies on the proper use of technology starting from children, To do research on the psychological and physical problems arising from the excessive use of technology and share them with the people, To raise people’s awareness with seminars about the ways of controlling technology addiction, To carry out activities that will lead children and adults into sports branches according to their skills and interests, To offer our guidance services to families on their children’s use of computers and telephones, To carry out activities that will increase people’s social relations and communications To enable the use of technology that will not be an obstacle in people’s social lives and development.
