WorkPilots is a social enterprise dedicated to help those who are struggling with social acceptance and economical stability. I see we share a mission with you to introduce these underserved talents to society and a prosperous future. Our unique mobile SaaS toolset provides you access to methods that establish alternative pathways for underserved people to social and economic inclusion. As an example: traditional recruitment processes often leave numerous tremendously talented individuals without a fair shot at proving their worthiness. We provide a solution that makes access to paid job-trials mutually effortless. We see the need for a new integration approach in all underserved groups: youth, NEET, long time unemployed, migrants, refugees, people with disabilities, women, and LGBTQ - just to name a few. Our mission has been to break the hurdles leading to inclusion, integration, and sustainable life. Our SaaS solution has mitigated the risks task providers and talents face in traditional matching and recruitment procedures. This approach has enabled people to identify mutual suitability without the burden of resourceful commitments. This has opened doors to numerous opportunities that were previously unimaginable. OUR WORKPILOTS MODEL: We started with WorkPilots 2016 after realizing that there is a huge number of people excluded from work and the main reason for many is that current employment models (with CV,’s interviews and applying to traditional jobs) just do not work very well for them. They need flexible options. Our initial goal was to revolutionize the way young individuals access job experiences in Finland and provide thousands of young short and so important first work experiences. Later on after seeing how big impact our model created, our customers wanted to expand the model to other groups needing help e.g. disabled, refugees, immigrants etc. Model in short is a new “ABC-path” to work. It is starting with small Any tasks (even just for few hours to get started and getting motivations and hope back), learning by doing Better tasks improving confidence and skills and leading to tailored Career opportunities that meet workers unique needs, fostering larger social impact in the society. TRACTION We have now successfully linked over 20 municipalities, 200 NGOs, and thousands of companies with potential talents, facilitating over 40 000 job opportunities. Over 7 000 have got their very first experience and we have hundreds of touching stories of the results. SOLUTION Our main partners / customers are those who are preventing and solving unemployment and work exclusion issues. We provide them a mobile platform enabling this new low threshold and empowering model to accelerate paths to work. Our solution has evolved into a customer-branded ‘turn-key’ mobile platform matching the right people with the right tasks. It is easy-to-use and provides a seamless interface for both organizations and job seekers, with no development costs—just straightforward customization of our tech to your brand, needs and users.
