s´Kollektiv

sKollektiv is a Graz-based collective of theatre pedagogues, artists, and social workers with a strong focus on participatory and socially engaged theatre. We design and implement performances, workshops, trainings, and events that use drama-based and theatre pedagogical methods to explore relevant social and political topics. Our work is rooted in artistic-critical reflection and aims to strengthen collective well-being. We regularly collaborate with people in challenging life situations – such as young people, job seekers, or migrants – and invite amateurs into meaningful artistic processes. We see theatre as a powerful tool for social transformation: playful yet real, emotionally engaging, and deeply embodied. By activating public spaces and everyday environments as stages, we make theatre accessible, relevant, and impactful. In times of rapid societal change, we contribute to the development of new concepts for social interaction, learning, and cultural participation. We are open to European partnerships and collaborations within Erasmus+ Youth, especially in projects that promote inclusion, creativity, and innovation through the performing arts.
