Society "StaroJums"

The goals of our work are the following: 1) Promotion of cultural education and improvement of life quality of the society in Ludza municipality, facilitating sustainable development of culture, preservation and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage; 2) Support to development of young people's initiatives, facilitating their non-formal education, efficient use of leisure time, civic participation and cohesiveness of local communities; 3) Organization of sports events for children and school students. At the moment, we are going to submit an application in Erasmus+ programme and are looking for partners which are youth organizations, non-governmental organizations dealing with youth matters and probably also with development of non-formal education programmes for young people aged 16-25 aiming at promotion of their personal skills, professional skills for their better inclusion in labour market and other activities.
