Afyonkarahisar Provincial National Education Directorate

Afyonkarahisar Provincial National Education Directorate is a public institution which arranges all educational activities and supervises them all around the province. 135 personnel, 13 of whom are administrators, are working in the institution in total. 7929 teachers are working in 927 schools and organizations under our Directorate in the province. 140.690 students are studying in these schools. Our institution is responsible for pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational and non-formal education in local scope. Also, the Directorate organizes social, cultural and sports courses and activities for students and the young. Besides, preparing educational development plans and programs, forming future missions and visions according to the related regulations and basic principles, determining strategic aims and goals to be evaluated, measuring the performances of teachers and students, monitoring and evaluating this process, and preparing strategic plan by using participative methods are among the major missions of the Directorate.As Afyonkarahisar Provincial National Education Directorate, we have participated in several EU projects under Lifelong Learning Programme and Youth Programmes.
