"Youth for Development" Public Union

The Initiative Group of the Association was established in October 2013. The Founding Conference was held on December 13 of the same year. The Association has been registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on January 29, 2010 under the registration number 110 - Q30 - 2802. The Association is voluntary, non-governmental organization created by young people. The object and purpose of the Association's activities is implementation of activities in the field of science, education, religion, culture, the environment, education, business, sports, spirituality, voluntariness by providing the development of the citizens of the Azerbaijan at the republican level, creation of image of modern citizen based on national and spiritual values, implementation of scientific-research works for purposes of assisting in building of civic society, solution of socio-economic problems and assisting in enlightenment of citizens, provision of cooperation and participation at republican and international level. The Association realizes the following duties to achieve the objectives: - The protection of citizens' interests in all public areas; - To have activity for realization of the integration of Azerbaijani citizens to modern world; - The mobilization of young people for the solution of environmental problems that exist in the Republic of Azerbaijan; - Protection of the environment and nature; - To carry out general works for elimination of problems related to human health, healthcare; - To assist in raising of moral level of children and young people; - To have comprehensive awareness-raising activities dedicated to the development of civil society; - Publication and distribution of methodological resources, literature serving to increase awareness and mental outlook of citizens (especially children and young people); - Conduction of surveys among various strata of the population in connection with problems in education, science, health, cultural and other areas of social development; - To facilitate people who want to support themselves in science, culture, education and health sector -To support people with special creative ability; -The study of problems concerning the young people (especially the youth of the province) and supporting comprehensively in their solutions; - To develop leadership and management skills of young people; - To use the general efforts of young people in the elimination of gender problems; - To support the interests of young people and youth organizations in all public areas; - To support young entrepreneurs; - To make efforts in strengthening of dialogue in religious, national, ethnic bases in the world and Azerbaijan, to promote the development of tolerance;- - To explore the question of the membership of the association in various international organizations in accordance with the work of public Association, and to join the membership of public Association; - The provide care and support to people of the society left behind the care, orphans, disabled, veterans, suffered of psychological pressure, refugees, internally displaced persons, in general, those in social need; - To establish cooperation with various foreign governments, non-governmental, humanitarian, commercial and non-profit organizations; - To expand the relations among national-level organizations, entities; - To cooperate with Azerbaijani youth in abroad and to act in terms of presentation of Azerbaijan; - To cooperate with mass media, local authorities and self-governing bodies, government agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, foundations, local, foreign, higher and specialized secondary schools and other organizations in a manner not prohibited by law, and to ensure the mutual flow of information; - To conduct scientific research, arrange various courses and seminars, round tables, meetings and exhibitions, conferences, charity marathons, and other forums and events; The Association closely cooperates with government agencies like the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Baku city Youth and Sports Dept, Nariman district Youth and Sports Department, Surakhany District Youth and Sports Department, Youth Fund under the President of Azerbaijan, Binagadi District Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Central Blood Bank, Internal Troops, Ministry of Defence, from Non-Governmental Organizations - Youth Education Association of discharged military men, "Blood Donors Association" Public Association, "Youth Flame" Public Association, "Youth Center" Public Association, " For Democratic Azerbaijan "Public Association" “Azerbaijani - Latin American Youth Friendship" Public Association, from the country's broadcasted television channels like the Khazar TV, AzTV, from news agencies like www.newspaper.az, www.gun.az, www.azertag.gov.az, www.sia.az, www.azpress.az, www.qhtxeber.az, www.azxeber.az and leading newspapers like Paritet, Herbi And (Military Oath), Tezadlar (Contrasts), 525th newspaper. The Association is a member of the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National NGO Forum since 2012. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND COMPOSITION OF THE ASSOCIATION Chairman of the Association is at the same time is Chairman of the Board of Directors, deputies of Chairman are deputies of Chairman of the Board. Departments are Executive bodies of the Association. The Executive Director heads the activity of the executive structure. Department Directors manage the performance on their profiles.
