Lets work together The NEST team has long and fruitful experience in managing EU and Nationally funded projects, in developing and implementing educational projects with students and adult vocational learners, in organising information and sensitisation campaigns for environmental issues, in organising fora, workshops and finally in studies. NEST - Nature Environment Society Technology is a non profit organisation that was founded in the beginning of 2014. It is a professionals' initiative that are actively engaged in the NGO sector for over a decade, promoting environmental protection, social economy, research and development, innovation and new environmentally friendly technologies. We believe that "sustainable development is not a static condition of harmony, but on the contrary, a process of change in which the use of natural resources, the direction of investment and technological development and the legal framework change are made according to future as well as current needs [Brundtland, 1987]. NEST was created aiming to promote, support and implement sustainable socio-economic and environmentally friendly policies, by taking advantage of experience, evaluation of the needs and requirements of the present and by providing proposals and solutions for a sustainable future. NEST operates methodically, implements its targeted and carefully planned actions, deals with arising issues spherically taking into account all the aspects and parameters, monitors and evaluates results, and redesigns its actions when necessary. We seek cooperation with local communities, enterprises, governmental and non-governmental organisations, from different cultures and civilizations. NEST's members originate from the professional sector of NGOs. We poses a long and fruitful experience in managing EU and national projects, organising campaigns, implementing educational and informative actions through the creation of educational packages and toolkits that are approved by the Ministry of Education. We manage our resources transparently, according to the strictest national and international standards.
