One World Romania at School is the educational program of the One World Romania Association. Its aim is to introduce documentary films and debates on human rights topics in Romanian high schools, through activities destined for teachers and students. One World Romania at School for teachers means preparing and supporting teachers who are interested in integrating documentary films in their teaching activity according to the school curriculum. This is done through regular workshops and educational materials. The workshops take place in various cities in the country and they are open to teachers of all subjects who are willing to debate human rights issues with their students. One World Romania at School also provides teachers with educational resources adapted to films on a variety of topics. One World Romania at School for students means encouraging and supporting film clubs organized by students as an extra-curricular activity and their involvement in the Association`s programs, as a volunteer or a jury member in the High School Students jury at the human rights film festival. The film clubs are more than regular documentary film screenings. The main objectives of these clubs are to use non-formal methods in educating students regarding current issues, informing them about human rights and offering them the opportunity to improve their organizational and presentation skills.
