Cooperativa Tirrena 96 was born in Villafranca Tirrena (Me) in 1996 working mainly with young people and children, in compliance with precise values, such as the centrality of the person, respect for diversity, solidarity among the working members and to users of the services, ethics, respect for the natural and human environment; The cooperative, thanks to its experience, can also carry out other activities with the ability to promote the employment of disadvantaged people. The social object on which the cooperative bases its operations concerns the management of nurseries, supplementary benefits and support in schools and social and integrative institutions, social and integrated assistance to the disabled, children and families in need, ensuring the care , surveillance and physical and psychological protection. They also organize cultural, recreational and welfare in favor of people with physical, psychic and their families as well as people with other types of disadvantage. Organize and manage (also in collaboration with other organizations) support services and hospitality, entertainment and assistance to those in need or a social risk. It promotes the formation of their members and workers; carry out awareness raising and animation of the local community; carry out activities promoting the commitment of the institutions in favor of the weak and disadvantaged people and affirmation of their rights. Tirrena has 96 educational purposes, cultural, welfare and recreation. To design and implement the activities work and collaborate with us in various capacities around 100 people aged between 25 and 60 years of working members, employees and contractors, with appropriate qualifications to the tasks assigned, in line with regulations; their training, their experience, their commitment and passions that animate them give "life" to our reality cooperative, which every year is growing and developing with new goals, new and more and more 'innovative projects.
