Fundación Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia

The OJRM offers young musicians from the Region of Murcia the possibility of studying and training within a symphony orchestra with criteria of innovation and excellence in its operation, and always by the hand of a high-level international faculty: soloists and members of some of the best orchestras in Spain and Europe such as RTVE, Palau de Les Arts, Concertgebouw, Birmingham or Munich. Many of these teachers, moreover, have been members of the orchestra itself. After the already celebrated Christmas and Holy Week meetings, the OJRM for the end of season 17/18 collaborated in the festival 'Animal Sound', on June 16, 2018, where symphonic music and electronics went hand in hand. Also, in the month of July the summer concentration was led by the teacher Josep Vicent, one of the most important Spanish conductors in the national and international level. The new tests convened served to complete the staff of the young orchestra after the selection made last year; some tests to which about 200 applicants were presented and where 80 were chosen.
