Erzincan Lisesi

Erzincan High School was established in 1905. The school takes the 13th rank on the historical schools of Turkey. There are 650 stdents and 50 teachers. Our school is a mix of modern and historical educational establishment with great development perspectives and potentials and open to constructive changes. Students start to enroll to this school at the age of 14 and finish at the age of 18. They are very motivated and interested in communicating and collaborating with students from other European schools, NGOs and other international youth. Our teachers are well-educated, experienced, enthusiastic, and creative and are ready to contribute in the project. We took part in a school partnership projects in , and we coordinated local youth projects in 2018 and 2019. Our school receives high achievements in competitions, educational contests, sport competitions, etc. Our students participate in numerous events and competitions on local and national level. These include participation in national sport and project competitions, talent events, and general knowledge activities. Our teachers are using not only formal, but also non-formal education methods. Usage of which helps teachers to explain the subject in an interactive way, pupils are more intrested in listening and taking part in such activities, because they are not boring. We arrange lots of courses and workshops to enable young people to acquire skills and professionalises through using new and non-formal education methods that stimulate learning, creativity and transfer skills useful even for future.
